Use Profile > Contracts to review the fee rates shared by properties assigned to a contract. A contract change can affect more than one property and may update bookings that have not yet been disbursed.
Confirm the scope before you save
Check which properties use the contract and which bookings may be affected. For an exception that applies to only one property, use that property’s Fee Rates instead.
Review the contract’s properties and rates
- Open Profile > Contracts.
- Find the contract and review its assigned properties so you know which properties share these rates.
- Select Rates beside the contract.
- Find the fee you intend to change and check its current rate and fee type. Confirm the agreed rate and any applicable calculation or tax treatment before editing.
Change a contract fee rate
- Select Edit beside the intended fee.
- Enter the approved rate and check that the fee type is correct.
- Review the change against the contract’s assigned properties, then select Save.
For a fee that is missing from the contract, confirm the required fee type and setup with your account administrator before adding it. A fee’s calculation basis, tax treatment and payable event are part of its configuration; do not copy settings from another contract without checking the agreement.
Check the effect
After saving, reopen the contract rates and confirm the saved value. Check a representative property’s Fee Rates and an affected booking that has not been disbursed. A contract rate change can update outstanding bookings that have not yet been disbursed; allow time for the update to finish before checking the result.
If only one property should have a different rate, see Override a global fee for a property. For account-wide defaults, see Set up global fees.
