Connect a supported property management system (PMS) to bring its available booking information into BookingTrust. Each PMS has its own connection and setup steps, so follow the guide for your PMS and arrange the account setup with BookingTrust.
Before you begin
Confirm that your PMS is supported and that you have an active BookingTrust account. Connection methods and the information supplied by each PMS can differ.
Plan the connection
- Contact BookingTrust to confirm the PMS integration and the steps for your account.
- Follow the PMS-specific authorization or credential instructions. Share a connection key only when requested through the agreed setup process.
- Complete the connection, then use the available property import or sync step if the PMS guide calls for it.
- Work with BookingTrust’s integration team to set up the property profiles, owners and applicable fees before relying on the records for accounting.
- Review imported booking details and payment records against the source PMS and your bank information as part of your normal accounting checks.
What to expect
A PMS connection can provide booking or property information for use in BookingTrust. The connection’s direction, available fields and setup steps depend on the integration. For example, the Hospitable connection guide describes authorizing BookingTrust and then running Property Sync; it also recommends working with the integration team on profiles and fees. Do not assume another PMS offers the same fields or controls.
Imported booking information is not proof that money has reached your bank. Check payment records and reconcile receipts against your bank using your usual process.
Get help
If the PMS is not listed, the connection does not complete, or expected information is missing, contact BookingTrust with the PMS name and the affected booking or property reference. Do not send passwords or include API keys in a support message unless BookingTrust specifically requests the key through its approved setup process.
